The menu is made with tamarind
chicken fierce involving coconut milk . Savory taste of coconut milk plus sour
starfruit flavors and spicy green chili flavor would be fitting to blend into
your family meal menu options . The recipe makes a fierce sour as follows .
Materials Garang Asem
½ kg of chicken meat
½ coconut , grated and taken coconut milk
3 pieces of red pepper , cut into 1 cm pieces
3 green chilies , chopped 1 cm
2 tomatoes , each cut into 8
1 fruit starfruit , cut into pieces
2 eggs hazelnut
6 spring onions
4 cloves of garlic
¼ tsp coriander
Fried shallots
Flavoring to taste
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
sufficient water
2 cm galangal , crushed
2 bay leaves
How to Make Garang
Asem
1 . Boil chicken until slightly tender and reserving the
broth .
2 . Puree onion , garlic , nutmeg , and coriander .
3 . Saute ground spices until fragrant , then enter galangal
, bay leaves , chili , tomatoes , and chicken meat .
4 . Stir briefly and add a little water , broth of chicken ,
star fruit , sugar , and salt . Cook until the flavors to infuse .
5 . Enter the coconut milk and stir gently so as not to
break the coconut milk . Add a little flavor .
6 . Cook until cooked coconut milk and serve with a
sprinkling of fried shallots .
Garang asem can be used as a vegetable side
dish as well . The presentation can use banana leaves to wrap a banana leaf
aroma will add tamarind fierce distinctiveness . For a healthier menu , you can
add vegetables such as cucumber or spinach when serving vegetable stew with
rice .
