Potatoes can be used as a staple food because they contain carbohydrates , minerals , vitamins , and fiber . If only boiled potato flavor may not be too specific . One of processed potato that can be used as a side dish with a touch of different flavors are potato cakes . Here's how to make potato cakes .
Material potato cakes
½ kg potatoes , peeled and cut into thin
1 egg , separate the yolk and white
1 tbsp fried shallots
¼ teaspoon finely ground white pepper
1 clove of garlic
salt to taste
Cooking oil to taste
How to Make potato cakes
